The occupied city of Laayoune is subjected to a severe military and military siege to prevent Sahrawis from peacefully demonstrating

Al-Samara Street and the alleyways in the occupied town of Laayoune, especially opposite the Manolo bungalow and the Matteh Allah neighborhood, witnessed a subversive security siege of various Moroccan occupation groups (police and auxiliary forces) in civilian and official uniforms to prevent participants from reaching the street.
The siege follows the call by the Coordination of Sahrawi Human Rights Activities in the occupied city of Laayoune to take to the public street as an expression of the exercise of the right to peaceful demonstration on Saturday under the title "Claiming the right to self-determination".
The Moroccan occupation police also prevented a director of the Sahrawi Association for Victims of Gross Violations of Human Rights committed by the Moroccan State in charge of monitoring and documentation, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Dehani, from carrying out his duties. He was approached by three persons wearing civilian uniform.
According to the sources of the Sahrawi Society, the Moroccan security forces of the Moroccan occupation prevented Sahrawi activists from reaching Al-Samara Street or the alleys that are part of it, in order to dissuade them from organizing the peaceful stop.
